Q: How do I pay?

A: Payment options depend on who and where you are.

Schools/Distributers. If you have ordered on behalf of a school in Australia or an Australian distributor of Languages Made Easy products, we allow up to 30 days credit from the date of the invoice. You may credit the amount straight to our account by EFT, or via Paypal to pay from a Paypal account, or indirectly from Visa/Mastercard. When using electronic payment methods, please ensure the Languages Made Easy invoice number is entered so we can relate the payment back to your purchase.

Private/International Orders. If you have placed a personal order, or an order from an institution outside Australia, Languages Made Easy requires pre payment.

Private Orders. Order and pay on line by Paypal or pay by EFT.  If you like, order on line and we will send a tax invoice and you can remit funds to our BSB and account.  We will despatch your order promptly after payment.

International Orders. Please use our on line order form and insert your country in the comment field. We will seek a quote for shipping and email it to you ASAP. If you are an International School that requires a proforma invoice before purchasing supplies please let us know. You can pay for your orders by:

  • Paypal, including credit card (MasterCard and Visa)
  • Direct deposit via SWIFT, in Australian Dollars only

Q: I just want to pay with Paypal because I know it’s safe. How do I go about it?

A: Select your teaching language using the national flags on top/right of the screen.  Scroll down to the title Order and Pay with PayPal/Credit Card/Debit Card, then select products you wish to purchase and complete the Paypal form, including address and source of funds.  It's that easy, even easier if you already have a Paypal account. Millions of people use it with confidence every day.

Q: I placed my order 2 weeks ago. When will I get my books?

A: Most orders within Australia are delivered to Languages Made Easy customers in less than 5 working days. If we believe a package may arrive later than 7 days from the date we receive the order we will advise the customer.  When a parcel is despatched we email customers the Australia Post tracking number, so that they can follow its passage to their address.

If you placed an order 2 weeks ago and have not received it, and you have not received advice from Languages Made Easy, there is a problem. Please contact us if you have not received confirmation of your order.  If you received despatch advice and think it should have arrived, then check your parcel's status on line with Australia Post.  Over the past 25 years we have had orders sent to incorrect postal and email addresses. We've also had orders delivered to schools promptly, but not passed to the actual customer. We are anxious to supply our resources to customers, but we can only do that when we receive an order. If in doubt please CONTACT US!

Q: Why don’t you use perfect binding for your books like other suppliers?

A: We experimented with a variety of binding methods, including perfect binding, when we developed our first products in 1993. We rejected perfect binding in favour of methods that last longer. Our standard approach is a combination of plastic covers and comb/spiral binding which cost us more to produce, but will withstand the harsh teaching environment are resources are put to work in.

We designed our practical language programs to take a child from Kindergarten to Year 6, and we expect our books will still be usable when that child leaves for High School. We agree that perfect binding looks better in the short term, but we want to give customers value for money, and that’s why we are still in business. In our eyes value for money means supplying products that deliver in the classroom, year after year. And we believe that most customers will agree with us.

Q. I've been asked to teach LOTE, but I have a pretty limited background. Can you help with pronunciation?

A: You'll understand that this is not the ideal situation. However, we can help if you are using the Languages Made Easy Practical series of program books in the classroom. We have developed a series of CDs that provides all the pronunciation for the vocabulary in the Practical series, using male and female native speakers. You can use these CDs to show the students authentic speaking models for the language you are teaching. The CDs can be a lifesaver if you have a limited background, but they will only assist if you are using our Practical series of program books.
